The Lodge

The lodge is designed for fishermen to relax after their day on the river. It has just been refurnished and dramatically improved so it can offer all that a fisherman wants. It overlooks the Rio Grande River from a cliff, permitting an extensive view of the Darwin Range, the forested hills nearby and the river itself. It is located just a few minutes driving from the most productive pools, in the heart of one section of the Estancia.

Following the Patagonian style, the lodge has a warm and welcoming feeling. Native fine woods and local stones were used on the construction. Capacity is for 6 fishermen in 4 rooms with private bathrooms and central heating. By having the rooms isolated from the common places of the lodge, a peaceful rest and a good night’s sleep can be assured while others continue to have a great time in the living and dining room of the main lodge.

Food is based on local products, such as sea food, lamb, fish and in-house grown vegetables and fruits. It is imperative to try the famous Pisco Sour and a collection of excellent Chilean wines while enjoying the friendship and professionalism of the staff.
