Born in October 17, 1973. Fisherman since he was seven years old. Fished with his dad who was his inspiration!! Started fly fishing in 1997, nowadays, considered one of the best Spey caster in Chile. English Spanish translator and tourism advisor as profession. Started guiding this river since 2005 and there are many memories coming every time he goes to the river.

Hector Tagle

Hector Tagle, AKA "Chele". Born and raised in Punta Arenas on February 2nd, 1978. Fisherman since he was six years old. Fishing guide. Agricultural advisor as profession. Hector has participated in different local fishing encounters, improving his knowledge in fly tying and fly fishing techniques in one and two handed casting.

Hector started guiding as freelance in different outfitter companies. Last season had the chance to guide in helicopter guided fishing trips. A unique and unforgettable experience.

"If you ask me to choose a place to guide, I would say the Rio Grande by far. A very technical, fine and challenging river. Every day you find different situations. Fishing this river with flies is priceless.
